Mattia Sanguineti

Violinist

Mattia began playing the violin at the age of three. He graduated from the Conservatory of Genoa at the young age of 15, and continued his studies in Paris at the Conservatoire de Région and later at the Conservatoire National (CNSMDP) in the class of O. Charlier, where he obtained a Master’s degree in violin and won the Prize for Chamber Music in string quartet.

He studied under S. Accardo at the Chigiana Academy in Siena and at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona.

Winner of several national and international competitions, he has performed with some of the greatest orchestras: Camera Italiana, Opéra national de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Paris Mozart Orchestra, Les Dissonances.

He has received scholarships from the Meyer Foundation, Terrazi Foundation, Sylff Foundation, and the Chigiana Academy of Siena.

He plays a Leandro Bisiach violin from Milan 1914 and a Giuseppe Lecchi violin from Genoa 1959.
