Barthélémy Jusselme co-founded Lìla with Rodolphe Leonarduzzi, a tuba and guitar duo. They collaborated with photographer Jeff Pachoud for their concert-projection and recorded an album of original compositions (Lìla, 2019, distributed by inouïe). He has been invited to perform with Les Siècles, the Orchestra of the Paris Opera, the Orchestra of the Marseille Opera, the Orchestre de Picardie, the Bordeaux Aquitaine National Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Rouen Opera, the Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra, and the Gürzenich Orchester Köln. He has also performed on stage with Hans Zimmer during his 2016 and 2017 tours, Hans Zimmer Live on tour. He is a professor at the Conservatoire du Centre de Paris. Originally from Chirassimont (42), he studied saxhorn and tuba with Benoît Lacroix, Alain Salmon, and Christian Delange, and then at the CNSM de Paris with Gérard Buquet, Jérémie Dufort, and Fabien Wallerand. Barthélemy Jusselme twice won the 1st Prize at the International Tuba Competition in Tours (France, 2007 and 2013), and the 3rd Prize at the International Tuba Euphonium Conference competition in Linz (Austria, 2012).
