Vincent Arnoult

Oboist

After studying with Denis Roussel at the ENMD de Montreuil, Yves Poucel at the CNR de Boulogne Billancourt, and Jérôme Guichard at the conservatoire du centre de Paris, Vincent Arnoult joined the class of David Walter, through whom he obtained his DFS in oboe and English horn from the CNSMD de Paris in 2005. The following year, still under David Walter’s guidance, he earned his prize in chamber music. He then joined Michel Henry’s baroque oboe class at the CNSMD de Paris.

As a member of the wind quintet Cassiopée, he won several interpretation awards at international chamber music competitions in Paris, Marseille, and Lyon. In 2010 and 2011, Quintette Cassiopée participated in the program of the Jeunesses Musicales de France.

He regularly collaborates with professional ensembles such as the Opéra de Paris, Les Siècles under François-Xavier Roth, the Orchestre de Tours, Orchestre Poitou-Charentes, Les Musiciens du Louvre under Marc Minkowski, La Grande Ecurie du Roy under Jean-Claude Malgoire, the Orchestre d’Auvergne, as well as the Archimusic ensemble under Jean-Rémy Guédon and Le Secession Orchestra under Clément Mao Tacaks.

In 2017, he joined the orchestra of the Opéra de Limoges as principal English horn.
