L'âme musicale de George Sand

Saturday
7 November 2026
20h00

Approx. 2 hours, including one intermission.

To mark the 150th anniversary of George Sand’s death, the Paris Mozart Orchestra and Claire Gibault present a concert-reading inspired by the writer’s reflections on music. Bringing together literary texts, works by Beethoven, a tribute to Pauline Viardot, and traditional music from the Berry region, this performance weaves together literature and music in a staged production featuring Suliane Brahim, Sociétaire of the Comédie-Française, alongside mezzo-soprano Margaux Poguet. Throughout the performance, photographs by FLORE are projected, adding a visual dimension to this artistic dialogue
