Margaux Poguet
Soprano
Margaux Poguet began her musical journey studying bassoon and theatre at the Conservatoire of Bourges. She graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in 2023, receiving the jury’s unanimous highest honours.
In 2024, she performed several Mozart roles, including Elvira (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), and Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito). She has appeared at the Théâtre de l’Athénée, the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing, the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, and the Opéra de Massy.
Passionate about the diversity and richness of the vocal repertoire, Margaux regularly collaborates with emerging composers of her generation on contemporary creations. She also takes part in musical theatre productions, notably at Lido 2 Paris and the Opéra de Toulon.
Margaux is a laureate of the Royaumont Foundation, the Ravel Festival Academy and the Villecroze Music Academy. She has also received support from the Lions Club Foundation, the Meyer Foundation, and the patron Patrick Petit.
For her debut recording, she has chosen a programme of German music bringing together Alban Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder, songs by Kurt Weill arranged for piano and jazz double bass trio, and songs by Viktor Ullmann set to poems by Louise Labé.
Margaux also holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy (Research) from Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
