Katharina Morin
Conductor
Katharina Morin is a student in orchestral conducting and previously in choral conducting at the HMT Munich. She is also currently the assistant to the conductor GMD Daniel Huppert with the Bergische Sinfoniker. As a fellow of the prestigious Forum Dirigieren, she has qualified for the final of the upcoming Deutscher Chordirigentenpreis and has worked with renowned ensembles such as the WDR Rundfunkchor. Her studies at the HMT in the class of Marcus Bosch and Georg Fritzsch have been marked by projects with orchestras including the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, and many others. In March 2024, Katharina Morin received the 3rd Prize as well as the Génération Opéra Prize at the International Competition for Women Conductors La Maestra, co-founded and co-directed by Claire Gibault.
