Matthieu Chardon
Percussionist
After studying in the Percussions de Strasbourg class, Matthieu Chardon entered the Paris Conservatory in Frédéric Macarez’s class. Interested in both orchestral repertoire and contemporary creation, he participated for five years in the Lucerne Festival Academy under the direction of Pierre Boulez and has since regularly collaborated with various orchestral ensembles such as Les Siècles, the French National Orchestra, the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the Toulouse National Capitol Orchestra, the Lille National Orchestra, and others. He now aims to share his experience and communicate the joy of playing solo and collectively to all his students.
