Talk: “Women in a Man’s World” with Claire Gibault – Le Monde Festival

Claire Gibault has been invited to take part in the 12th edition of Le Monde Festival, dedicated this year to women and femininity. Over three days, Le Monde’s auditorium will host talks and debates exploring the place of women in society and the major issues shaping their lives. While gender equality continues to advance, many fields, including sport, business and the arts, remain largely male-dominated. How are women making their place in these environments?

On this occasion, Claire Gibault will reflect on her career as a conductor and on the creation of the La Maestra Competition, which works to promote greater representation of women on the conductor’s podium.
