For 25 years, Isabelle Pandazopoulos was a literature teacher, working with children with learning difficulties and mental disabilities. She then became a trainer at INSPE for specialized teachers and documentalist teachers.
For some years now, she has been devoting herself entirely to writing.
She has published 7 Young Adult novels, shortlisted for numerous prizes including the Prix Vendredi and the Prix des Incorruptibles, and all published in the Scripto collection by Gallimard Jeunesse and Rageot.
She has also adapted texts from Greek mythology (The Odyssey, The 12 labors of Hercules) and launched a new series recounting the same mythology from the point of view of women: Athena, Penelope, Ariadne and Demeter.
