Léa Valentin

Violinist

After obtaining her DEM (Diplôme d’Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris, Léa furthered her studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in the class of Robert Zimansky, followed by a Master’s in Pedagogy and a Master’s in Musical Interpretation in the class of Gwendolyn Masin. She also had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Igor Ozim, Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Tatiana Samouil, and Ferenc Rados.

Léa performs in France and abroad at various festivals (Festival de la Chaise-Dieu, Les Folles Journées de Nantes, Gaia Music Festival, Septembre Musical de Montreux, Ravello Festival…) and in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Southbank Center, the Victoria Hall, or the Philharmonie de Paris, among others. She performs with various orchestras and ensembles under the direction of conductors such as Kazuki Yamada, Michel Corboz, Thierry Fischer, Dennis Russell Davies, Nader Abbassi, or Scott Sandmeier, among others.

Passionate about teaching, she has had the opportunity to teach in Switzerland, Ireland, Brazil, and since 2017 she has been a violin professor at the Conservatoire d’Antony. Since 2021, Léa has also been a mental coach. She supports musicians, artists, and high-level athletes.

Léa has been playing with the Paris Mozart Orchestra under the direction of Claire Gibault since 2020.
