Anne-Lise Durantel

Violonist

Born in Troyes, Anne-Lise followed the well-trodden path of her siblings (a violist and double bassists) and chose the violin, an instrument for which she has a deep affection. She studied under Christophe Poiget, Boris Garlitsky, and Éric Lacrouts.

In 2006, she earned the Diplôme d’Études Musicales from the City of Paris with the highest honors, unanimously awarded with the jury’s congratulations. The same year, she was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where she graduated in 2009 with a DNSPM degree.

Anne-Lise is co-principal violin of the Paris Mozart Orchestra, actively participating in its numerous chamber music projects, orchestral performances, and educational and outreach concerts in France and abroad. She regularly performs with the Orchestre National de l’Opéra de Paris, the Ars Nova ensemble, the Des Équilibres ensemble, and the Magnétis ensemble. Since 2024, she has served as guest concertmaster with the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Reims. Chamber music plays a central role in her career, ranging from duos (two violins with Éric Lacrouts, violin-double bass “Komorebi” with Héloïse Dély, violin-piano with Mylène Berg and Eliane Reyes) to octets.

She has recorded several chamber music albums, including the two violin sonatas by Albert Roussel with pianist Gaspard Dehaene and the complete works for violin and piano by Enguerrand Lühl, alongside the composer at the piano. In 2023, with pianist Emmanuelle Moriat, she recorded the sonatas of Madeleine Dauphin and Guillaume Lekeu.

Deeply interested in neuroscience and psycho-emotional practices, Anne-Lise founded the “Au fil des Âmes” Academy. Designed for professional and pre-professional musicians, this academy focuses on artistic identity, stage fright management, mental preparation, and physical aspects (yoga/massage), alongside intensive instrumental training. The teaching team includes Éric Lacrouts for violin lessons, Benjamin Cortès for yoga and massage, and Anne-Lise Durantel for violin and mental coaching. Sessions of “Au fil des petites âmes” are also held in music schools hosting the project.
