A new great adventure begins this season: the PMO takes up residence at the Maison de la Culture de Bourges in the particularly exciting context of the City of Bourges’ candidacy as European Capital of Culture. We are therefore spreading our values and projects there, while keeping a firm footing in Île-de-France and continuing our tours:

• • Invitations to the Philharmonie de Paris, Brussels’ Bozar…
  • 2 artistic and educational projects committed to the environment: le jardin en mouvement (Alexandra Grimal / Gilles Clément) in Centre-Val de Loire, and Bleu (Benoît Menut / Maud Fontenoy / Yann Arthus-Bertrand) in Île-de-France
  • Transmission at the heart of our ambitions, with conducting and instrumental masterclasses at the Conservatoire de Bourges and Mairie du 9e
  • The evolution of “Après-Midis Musicaux” into “Balades musicales” throughout the 9th arrondissement
  • A commitment against all forms of discrimination with interventions at the Fresnes prison, at the Auditorium of the BnF for the LICRA, in the retirement homes and hospitals of Bourges
  • The promotion of talented women: invitation of La Maestra laureates to conduct the PMO, programming of composers Graciane Finzi and Alexandra Grimal

After 10 years of existence, the PMO is happily renewing itself, questioning itself in all its initiatives, without giving up its deep commitment and originality: solidarity, sharing, transmission, co-decision and co-creation. This is what we call “NOVA MONDO“* !
